Forum on Final National Mathematics Advisory Panel Report
The U.S. Department of Education and the Conference Board of Mathematical Sciences hosted the first national mathematics panel forum on October 6–7, 2008, in Washington, D.C. The forum was held in response to the final report of the National Mathematics Advisory Panel, Foundations for Success, which came out in March 2008.

Two major outcomes of the forum were action plans created to further the recommendations of the report and the unveiling of "Critical Foundations for Algebra," a new section of the Doing What Works website dedicated solely to teacher application of the recommendations. The full report, conference materials, action plans, and more resources are available from the U.S. Department of Education National Advisory Panel at: http://www.ed.gov/about/bdscomm/list/mathpanel/index.html
